Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026. TODO: have this reviewed by the client before launch. The old site had no working privacy policy, so this is a fresh draft, and the ICO registration status needs confirming.
Who we are
Craig Callum Associates Ltd ("we", "us") is an accountancy firm based in Liverpool, UK. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing our services. Contact us about privacy at kevin@craigcallum.co.uk or on 0151 944 4342.
What we collect and why
Enquiry forms. When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number and the details of your message. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests (responding to a request you initiated).
Clients. If you become a client, we collect the information needed to provide accountancy and tax services, including financial records and identification documents required by anti-money-laundering law. Legal bases: performance of a contract, and legal obligation.
Website. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Basic technical data (IP address, browser type) is processed by Cloudflare to serve and secure the site. Our enquiry forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical signals to distinguish humans from bots. We do not run advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted if you have not become a client. Client records are kept for the periods required by tax and anti-money-laundering law (generally at least five years after the end of the engagement).
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with: HMRC and Companies House (when filing on your behalf, as instructed); our IT and software providers acting as processors (e.g. cloud accounting platforms); and where required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these, email kevin@craigcallum.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
