Payroll & Workplace Pensions

Paying people correctly is non-negotiable. We run your payroll end to end (payslips, RTI submissions, pensions, starters and leavers) so your team is paid right and HMRC and The Pensions Regulator stay satisfied.

Payroll, off your desk

Payroll is unforgiving: real people notice immediately when it's wrong, and HMRC's Real Time Information regime means every pay run is reported as it happens. We run it for you:

  • Weekly, fortnightly or monthly pay runs to your schedule
  • Payslips delivered securely to staff
  • RTI submissions (FPS/EPS) filed with HMRC on time, every time
  • Statutory payments (sick pay, maternity, paternity) calculated correctly
  • Starters, leavers, P45s, P60s and P11Ds all handled
  • CIS returns for construction contractors and subcontractors

Workplace pensions and auto-enrolment

Auto-enrolment duties apply from your very first employee. We set up and run the whole thing:

  • Choosing and setting up a qualifying pension scheme
  • Assessing staff every pay run and enrolling eligible workers
  • Processing contributions, opt-ins and opt-outs
  • Declarations of compliance and triennial re-enrolment with The Pensions Regulator

Employer costs, planned not discovered

With employer National Insurance at 15% above a £5,000 threshold, the true cost of hiring is easy to underestimate. Because your payroll and accounts sit with the same team, we can tell you what a new hire, a pay rise or a bonus round actually costs, and how to structure it efficiently, before you commit.

Common questions

What does outsourced payroll include?

Everything: payslips each pay run, Real Time Information submissions to HMRC, PAYE and NI calculations, pension deductions and uploads, starters and leavers, statutory pay (sick, maternity, paternity), P60s at year end and P45s when people leave.

What are my auto-enrolment duties as an employer?

Every employer must assess staff, enrol eligible workers into a qualifying pension, make at least the minimum contributions, handle opt-ins and opt-outs, and re-declare compliance to The Pensions Regulator every three years. We run the whole cycle within the payroll.

How much does employer's National Insurance cost?

For 2026/27, employer NI is 15% on each employee's earnings above £5,000 a year, a significant cost since the threshold dropped in April 2025. The Employment Allowance can offset up to £10,500 for eligible employers; we make sure it's claimed and factor NI into any hiring or salary decisions you're weighing.

Do you handle CIS?

Yes: contractor and subcontractor returns under the Construction Industry Scheme, including verification, monthly CIS300 returns and deduction statements.
