Who we help

Landlords & Property Investors

Property tax has been rewritten over the last decade: mortgage interest restrictions, capital gains reporting windows and now Making Tax Digital. We keep landlords compliant and tax-efficient, from a single buy-to-let to a growing portfolio.

What we do for landlords

  • Rental accounts and tax returns: every allowable expense claimed, mortgage interest relief applied correctly under the finance-cost restriction rules
  • Making Tax Digital: landlords with gross rents over £50,000 are already in the quarterly reporting regime, with £30,000 and £20,000 tiers coming in 2027 and 2028. We handle software, records and submissions
  • Capital gains tax on sales: residential property gains must be reported and paid within 60 days of completion, a deadline many sellers only discover after missing it. Tell us before you sell and we'll have the computation ready
  • Jointly owned property: income split correctly, and planning on whether a different split would save tax

Personally or through a company?

Since mortgage interest relief was restricted for individuals, holding property through a limited company has become popular, but it's not automatically better. Corporation tax, dividend tax on extraction, higher mortgage rates and SDLT on transfers all change the arithmetic. We model your actual portfolio both ways before you commit to anything.

Portfolios and growth

For landlords building a portfolio we act as the finance function: bookkeeping per property, annual reviews of gearing and yields, and structuring advice as the portfolio (and your exposure) grows.
